Purpose and sources
TradAdvise organises evidence so visitors can inspect the original source. Regulatory information comes from identified official registers, regulator notices and other identified official publications. Guides explain how to interpret that information. Customer experiences are a separate content type and are not official evidence of a regulatory finding.
Review and publication
Automated collection can identify records and changes, but it does not itself approve public findings. A person reviews the relevant evidence and records the publication decision. Imports, captured material and unpublished suggestions are not treated as public facts merely because they exist in the system. Sources are used within their access and reuse conditions; publicly accessible information is not assumed to carry an unrestricted republication licence.
What a finding means
We distinguish the legal entity, brand, authorisation, exact website association, product or country scope, official warning and evidence date. A website relationship requires supporting evidence for that exact scope. A licence number does not verify a domain. Similar spelling is a reason to check further, not proof of impersonation.
Where several entities or records match, we preserve the ambiguity and explain what remains unresolved. Missing permission-country information does not prove a restriction. The absence of a warning from the checked material does not prove that every relevant warning list has been searched.
Dates and changes
Information dates, verification dates and publication dates have different meanings. We show relevant dates where available and do not present a scheduled refresh as proof of continuous monitoring. Sources may change between checks. Historical records remain distinguishable from current observations. If current evidence is unavailable, stale or conflicting, the public finding must reflect that limitation.
Warnings and allegations
We describe an official warning using its issuer, subject, source and date, with its scope preserved. We do not convert it into a wider allegation against unrelated firms or websites. The site's own wording does not label a firm criminal or fraudulent solely because a record is missing, a review is critical or a warning has a limited subject.
Commercial independence and corrections
Regulatory findings are not determined by advertising, payment, reviews or commercial relationships. We do not combine separate findings into a safety score. Prominent or example records are identified as examples or selected content, not represented as the safest or best firms. Use info@tradadvise.com to request a correction or provide a right-of-reply submission under the complaint process.
Authorship and tools
Guides and editorial pages are published under the TradAdvise brand. We may use software to assist research, formatting or translation, while retaining responsibility for publication. We do not invent named professional reviewers, qualifications, legal approvals, testimonials or source checks. Images and illustrations used decoratively are not presented as documents proving a finding.
