Application and definitions

These terms govern use of tradadvise.com and its free information tools. “Content” includes pages, findings, guides and contributions. “Official source” means the identified regulator, register or public authority. “Contribution” means a review, broker suggestion, correction or other material submitted by a user. Mandatory legal rights apply regardless of these terms.

Information and independent decisions

Our tools organise information from dated sources. They do not establish that a broker is safe, suitable for you or entitled to offer every service in every country. A legal entity's authorisation does not verify an unrelated website, telephone number, bank account or person contacting you. Confirm the exact entity, domain, permissions and restrictions through the relevant authority before acting.

Information may be incomplete, delayed, disputed or superseded. A missing record or warning does not establish misconduct or safety. Nothing on the website is a personalised recommendation to buy, sell, hold or open an account, or an offer to recover money. You remain responsible for your decisions, without limiting any responsibility that the law places on us.

Free use and availability

You may browse the public information without payment. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular response time for searches, continuous monitoring of a firm or the resolution of a dispute with a broker. We may correct records, change features, limit abusive traffic or temporarily suspend functionality for security, maintenance or legal reasons. We will act proportionately and explain a restriction affecting your contribution where required.

Your contributions

Submit only material you have the right to provide. Describe genuine experiences accurately, distinguish fact from opinion and follow the Community and Review Rules. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, account identifiers, unredacted identity documents or other people's private information.

Contributions are not published automatically. We may decline, seek clarification, redact personal information or remove material under the published rules. We will not materially change your account of events without seeking your agreement. You may challenge a moderation decision through the Complaints and Appeals Policy.

You retain ownership of original material you submit. For material you ask us to publish, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display, technically format and make necessary accessibility copies of that material for operating this service. This permission does not allow unrelated advertising use or sale of your story. If a translation would materially affect the meaning of your contribution, we will seek your agreement. Removal requests and withdrawal of publication consent are handled under the Privacy Notice; limited private retention may remain lawful for complaints or legal claims.

Acceptable use

Do not impersonate others, publish unlawful or knowingly false claims, manipulate reviews, introduce malicious code, obtain unauthorised access, bypass access controls or rate limits, or interfere with another person's use of the service. Do not use the service for broker advertising, referral solicitation or unsolicited recovery offers. Security research requires appropriate authorisation; these terms do not grant permission to test systems.

You may link to public pages and use content to the extent allowed by law and the Copyright and Reuse Policy. Automated access must respect access restrictions, applicable law and third party source rights. Nothing here removes a statutory exception or other right that cannot lawfully be restricted.

External services

External websites operate under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control their availability, security, content or subsequent changes. Inspect the destination address before following a link. A link or a named regulator is not a commercial recommendation or a guarantee.

Responsibility and legal rights

We take reasonable care in presenting information and correcting substantiated errors. We are responsible where applicable law makes us responsible. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Subject to those protections, we do not undertake responsibility for a broker's conduct, the performance of an investment, or losses caused by third parties merely because information about them appears here. We do not impose an obligation on consumers to indemnify us for all losses, waive statutory remedies or submit to compulsory arbitration.

Law and disputes

Cyprus law governs these terms to the extent permitted by applicable conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of habitual residence. Nothing restricts a right to bring a claim before a court available to you under mandatory EU, UK or other applicable law. You may first contact info@tradadvise.com to seek an informal resolution, but doing so is not a condition of exercising legal rights.

Updates

We publish updated terms with a version and date. Material changes will be brought to users' attention where appropriate. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or authorise a new use of personal information without the information or permission required by law.
